C : EUROPEAN REGIONAL EVENINGS
Culture, Stories and Youth Perspectives under a Common European Roof
The regional-intercultural evenings will become one of the central social and cultural elements of the Summer Camp 2026.
They are designed not as “national presentations”, not as touristic advertisement, but as open spaces where young people.
Each evening will be prepared by one partner group and will generally consist of the following elements:
• Regional food and shared table culture
Preparation of typical regional dishes, collective cooking situations and informal social exchange as an accessible starting point for the evening.
• Contemporary music and youth culture
Presentation of current music scenes, bands, playlists and examples of contemporary youth culture from the respective region.
• Artistic and performative contributions
Short performances, readings, improvisations, visual presentations, dance, theatre fragments or participatory artistic formats developed by the participants.
• Presentations of cultural, social or political initiatives
Introduction of local cultural projects, artistic initiatives, civic engagement, examples of contemporary youth- and protest culture from the respective region. All relevant to the participating group.
• Digital media
digital artworks or social media material connected to contemporary cultural and artistic developments.
• Film clips, contemporary music and concert videos
Screening of short films, music videos/recordings, concerts of current music scenes, bands,
• Open discussion and informal exchange
Collective conversations, reflections and spontaneous interaction between participants in an open and non-formal atmosphere.

The format aims to strengthen:
• intercultural understanding
• empathy and dialogue
• collective participation
• visibility of diverse European perspectives
• connections between art, everyday life and social reality
The Regional-Intercultural Evenings are therefore not only evening events, but wants creating a bridge between local experiences and transnational European youth culture and are an important informal learning process within the overall project “Border Experiences – Resilience by Art 2026”.
